Zach and Andy met in Houston, TX. at Bellaire High School, and had a lot of random jam/improv sessions together. Andy moved to LA to work for Neversoft, and Zach moved to Boston to attend Berklee College of Music after High School ended.

They continue to write music together over the internet as much as possible. One of their goals is to gain enough support to do AES full time.

"Anything" has been featured in Guitar Hero: World Tour as free Downloadable Content in the Neversoft Track Pack.
